Position Summary:The position is a key support role for the plant Operations and Maintenance team at a highly complex grain milling facility. This position will report into the Maintenance Superintendent, but will play instrumental support role to the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Planner and Operations Department Managers, EH&S Coordinator and Sanitation Lead. They will contribute to matters that impact the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the maintenance and Operations effort.
The focus of your position is to maximize production time available on equipment, minimize upkeep costs, and control expenditures related to equipment, spare parts, and consumable items.
This position supports the plant production effort and must provide high quality repair and maintenance services that enable the plant to meet production goals.
Job Responsibilities: Proactively work to ensure all visitors, vendors and contractors understand and comply with the ADM safety policies and procedures Ensure that all visitors, vendors, and contractors are briefed on the ADM and facility safety policies and procedures before they are permitted outside of the administrative deskHold all visitors, vendors, and contractors responsible to comply with the policies and proceduresSupport the production department?s reduction of quality hold productsWork with the Planner ensure the spare parts inventory is organized and available to the Maintenance technicians so production equipment and repairs will be completed in a manner that supports it will function as designed or expectedPO generation for the Maintenance team, Department Managers, EH & S Coordinator, and Sanitation Lead. Handling of Purchase request from multiple resources Maximo invoicing and receivingProcessing and tracking of Plant Purchase ordersLubrication Stock ManagementAssist with the training to employees into ADM as related to the purchasing systemsWeekly interaction with corporate accounting to ensure that both plant and Accounting needs are being fulfilledEnsure daily deliveries are received and distributed to the appropriate departmentsSpeak with Suppliers and Vendors on a daily basisDocumentation SupportMaintain data and providing support, updates and reporting as needed for CMMSMaintain Survey documentation as required Maintain, distribute reports/key metrics as directed by the Maintenance Superintendent/SupervisorSupport data entry into the CMMS as needed, supporting PlannerControl MRO costsWork with the Planner to manage an effective storeroom and spare parts inventory to ensure that the needed parts are availableWorking with the Planner determine when it will be possible to replace expensive OEM parts with lower cost or generic parts whenever possible without impinging on the functionality and reliability of the part or equipmentWork with the Planner standardize MRO parts throughout the facilityInventory ControlWork in conjunction with the Maintenance Planner to ensure that parts inventory is accurate, organized and safety stock levels are maintainedAssist skilled crafts with obtaining parts/inventory as requested.
