Operations Management Associate
Requisition ID : 1243Landus Cooperative is seeking an individual responsible for managing the employee and business performance for his/her assigned locations.? Keys to success will be based on the individual?s ability to develop and coordinate employees in a manner to optimize the cooperative?s market share and business results, improve efficiency, achieve the cooperative?s mission, goals, and vision, and drive outstanding customer service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following ?Learn how to control inventory; shrink, non-billed products and services, theft, damage, aging, and deterioration.Provide innovative ideas, related to continuous improvement of products, services, facility expansion, acquisitions, and people.Ensure each assigned location is in compliance with all company, state and federal policies and regulations.On a monthly basis, review the P&L status to include recommended changes to meet regional expectations.Assist with attracting, hiring and retention of location employeesAssist with the training and developing the Location Personnel to sustain day-to-day operations in a manager?s absenceAssist with managing the day-to-day operations of assigned locationsEnsure employee, customer and vendor accountability to sustaining quality system objectives.QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) from four-year college or university; at least six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: ?Must have or be able to obtain grain grading and weighing, pesticide applicators, and handler?s license.? Must have a Class A CDL with applicable endorsements or be able to obtain one. ?PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job.
