Operations Quality Technician – #01SJL
We are seeking an Operations Quality Technician. This position will be located in Oxnard, CA, reporting to the Operations Manager.This position is responsible for working with several Operations departments to identify, control and improve our quality deliverables. This may include receiving, conditioning, packaging, treating, shipping or warehousing. Our Operations Quality Control Technician is a key member of our team ensuring the highest quality product for our customers. Working at the front-end of our production, the Operations Quality Control Technician is essential to the overall success of our company and the timely, efficient, and high-quality product delivery. In this position, you will work closely with, and support other on-site personnel in an effort to continuously improve our processes and consistently establish the highest standards in the industry for safety, seed quality, cost, and supply reliability.Key Responsibilities:???Audit Operations??? processes for adherence to protocols and work with leadership to improve processes???Provide seed disposition and act as liaison between QA and Operations on quality issues and assist with resolution???Lead investigations into customer (internal/external) complaints???Works closely with Seed technology specialists as part of core team to determine root cause of quality issues???Work with seed technology specialists and global seed technology to align processes across regions???Work with Operations team on protocol review and updates???Assists Operations team with QMS (Quality Management System) tasks to ensure quality requirements are met???Lead internal/external audit preparation and execution (ex. ISO, Biotech)???Assists departments with Quality CAR/PAR/Observation investigation and closureQualifications:Requirements???Understands and complies with ESH guidelines and practices???High school diploma or GED???Strong knowledge of SAP???Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)???Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal???Ability to learn processes quickly???Ability to train others on operational processes???Ability to navigate QMS, GIMS and all other quality systemsBayer successfully completed the acquisition of Monsanto in June 2018, bringing together Monsanto???s leadership in seeds and plant traits with Bayer???s leadership in chemical and biological crop protection.
