As the supervisor of the operations team, you will provide technical/functional area leadership with the focus being the achievement of anchor budget and company goals with an emphasis on developing people. As an Operations Supervisor, you will report to the Operations Manager, and enable the efficiency and effectiveness of process technicians whom supports a 24/7 process facility. Responsibilities include: Lead training and standardization initiatives for the ring team/s and ensure training documentation is in place.Communication link between Process, Engineering, Lab and MaintenanceFoster an environment with open communication and feedback.Ensure Operations Team has proper resources including staffing for daily support and project implementation.Work with Area Coordinators, Technical Experts, and Engineering to prioritize team needs (production schedule, work orders, Engineering Changes, capital, etc.). Work with others to justify and implement maintenance and capital projects.Planning and/or implementation of the plant production scheduleDevelop and communicate clearly defined goals, metrics for success and drive celebrations of success within the Operations TeamLead the continuous improvement process for teams, which will include, capturing learning from the corrective action process (Events Log)Facilitate sustainability efforts within the areas and promote a safe work environmentAssure compliance and lead improvements towards plant focus areas: (GMP, risk assessments, event correction, safety, ISO).Ensure SAP system accuracy within the Process teamsPromote and support change in response to business needsUnderstand and support the overall plant operational needs.Identify and champion individual and team training needsProvide leadership to direct report employees if applicable, including facilitating career development, setting & reviewing performance goals, feedback discussions, recognition, coaching, and counselingSupport plant projects/priorities; ?One Team? & Continuous Improvement MindsetsLead/participate in continuous improvement projects/initiatives and Implement and monitor Operations KPI?sModel appropriate behavior and hold people accountable for; Safety Health Environment/Project Safety Management and Ethics and Respect for People Core Values.Qualifications:We are looking for an effective, results-driven, self-directed and motivated team player who communicates in an open, honest manner.
