Early Terminal's land size is 40 acres and employs 4 full-time employees. Care for each others health, safety and security.Reporting to the Supervisor, Early Terminal the Operator would be responsible for maintaining safe and efficient operation of the ammonia terminal area. Including shipments for both incoming and outgoing product fertilizers, recording data, and making operational corrections as required.Key Tasks:- Operate and monitor equipment.- Operate computerized and non-computerized control systems.- Perform terminal site maintenance.- Troubleshoot and analyze all types of rotating equipment.- Record and enter data readings.- Measure ammonia product and load product onto trucks through pump and piping systems.- Provide courteous service to all internal and external customers.- Adhere to local, state and federal governmental regulations and standards.The Ideal CandidateOutside of the skills and necessary qualifications, our ideal candidate must be committed to sustaining our safe and positive work environment while having the ability to embrace working side by side others in a diverse culture. Culture at Agrium is the core of everything we do and our candidate must be respectful of diverse opinions and views.Skills:- Strong written and verbal communications skills.- Possess intermediate computer skills.- Ability to work in a team environment.- Must be willing to travel occasionally for training courses and/or to assist at other terminals.- Work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.- 2 to 5 years of operations experience.- Possess basic working knowledge of mechanical equipment including; alignment tools, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, etc.- Instrumentation/electrical experience a plus.- Process Safety Management (PSM), experience a plus.- Ability to be on call 1 week per month.- Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, man-lifts, and front end loader, and tractors.- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.- Manage Daily Inventory.- Valid drivers license required.Why Agrium?We want to grow with you.Offering a fast-paced environment coupled with great people is what sets Agriums culture apart from other career opportunities.
