The Operator Associate is responsible for all aspects of personal safety, product quality, and operating of the reactors. As well as filling, loading, and unloading systems and their auxiliary equipment such as blend tanks. The Production Operator will manufacture quality finished goods and manage raw materials in a safe and efficient manner. This includes running reactors, load/unload of tank trucks, totes, drums or pails as required. Responsibility and accountability includes, but is not limited to:Load and process reactors and perform in-process quality testing. Work in a team-oriented atmosphere. This includes learning all the tasks and equipment associated with the process lane, helping coordinate the flow of work within the team and with other departments, and helping team associates to meet changing work demands. Start at Level I and be expected to continually advance their skill sets and participate in the team rotation.This is a safety sensitive position.Ability to perform in-process testing procedures, as directedKnowledge of plant chemical handling procedures including use of the PPE databaseMaintain assigned inspections and housekeeping dutiesOccasional lifting, bending, and twisting of various range and motion requiring physical exertion when handling material, equipment.Ability to lift 50 poundsAbility to stand and walk in work environmentFrequent use of stairs required.Occasional use of respiratory protection including air purifying, air supplied, and self contained air supplied respirators. Must pass fit test requirements for respiratory protectionPerform all required health and safety inspections at prescribed frequenciesMaintain a clean working environment.Ability to work a rotating shift Monday-Sunday.Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You?Basic Qualifications: ? Strong mechanical aptitude.? Ability to drive tow motors/fork trucks.? Knowledge of plant equipment and procedures? Understanding of the operation and control of process equipment.? General knowledge of plant chemical loading procedures and equipment (DCS operation, load forms, usage sheets, batch cards, move sheets, forklift, walker/stackers, etc.)? General knowledge of reading/ understanding MPI?s and associated documentation.? Ability to work in a team atmosphere with willingness and ability to help other team associates.?
