Our Borger plant produces both ammonia and urea and as of 2015 is currently undergoing an expansion. With 90 employee positions and more being brought in for the expansion our Borger facility has great opportunities!Reporting to the Commissioning Area Leads,the Operator, Commissioning will be responsible for assisting the Commissioning Area Lead with the commissioning and start-up of the plant.Key Tasks:- Assist in the development of area-specific commissioning and start-up procedures and documents required to start the plant as required, with the mandate to:- Finalize all Commissioning packages and set up for field use- Prove the flushing procedure will work before commissioning by field visits- Finalize Process SOPs, SOLs, SOCLs, OJTs, LOTO sheets- Any other preparation requirements by commissioning/BNO- Assist with tracking system completion progress in their areas and follow up of punch list items.- Become an expert of the Safety In-Transition procedure and help monitor that it is being followed correctly in all areas. Tape, tag, lockout system boundary points and all equipment within the turned over system as directed.- Assist loop check crews and DCS teams with interlock & trip checks, valve stroke checks as required.- Take active participation in the daily safe work permitting within the assigned area.- Label the plant equipment and piping to meet PSSR requirements.The Ideal CandidateOutside of the skills and necessary qualifications, our ideal candidate must be committed to sustaining our safe and positive work environment while having the ability to embrace working side by side others in a diverse culture.
