Operator II, Des Moines, IA We have an opening at our Des Moines, IA facility for an Operator II. This position is responsible for operating machinery and handling materials as assigned including, but not limited to, production pick-up, sub-divide and palletizing:
Operate processing equipment following established standard operating procedures.Coordinate operations with other operators to ensure quality procedures are followed through the systems.Ensure accurate records and reports are completed and maintained as required.Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Report equipment malfunctions or process deviations to Supervisor.Follow all procedures as outlined in the SOP.Comply with all safety programs and procedures.Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management. Requirements for this position include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, detail orientation with proven computer proficiency, a strong safety aptitude, basic math and reading skills, the ability to operate a forklift and tow motor safely. This position may require a valid driver?s license.
