prolonged periods of standing, working at various heights, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, working in a variety of conditions (hot, cold, etc.) Ability to lift 50 pounds Demonstrate initiative to work independently, while flexible enough to work in team setting when neededHigh School graduate or equivalent preferredJob Responsibilities:
Under limited supervision – prepare, inspect, fill, empty and label with USDA identifiers super sacks/totes in a safe, effective and efficient mannerConducts job tasks with a positive, safe attitude and maintains a safe work recordMaintains a good attendance recordWork rotating shifts of various lengths, including weekends and holidaysMaintains good communication with all plant personnel (other shifts, departments and managers)Maintains production rates Maintains good housekeeping and completes sanitation duties and paperwork as requiredConducts daily inspections, reporting any problems notedContinuously monitors and cleans equipment for optimal performance and quality Review production records and labeling for accuracyPerform quality checks as requiredAny other duties assigned by Lead Person or SupervisorThis position is located at our Headland, Alabama Shelling PlantRelocation assistance is not available with this positionThis position offers a complete benefit package, including: 401K/ESOP, health, life and dental insuranceADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, physical, background check and a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT is due to respirator requirement)
