Operator III ? Springfield, MOADM Animal Nutrition This is an hourly position.
Work to be performedOperate carts, pallet jacks, etc., pull finished product from the receiving lines and store in warehouse or put on trucks. Must have knowledge of products and codes, warehouse layout, forklift operation, and quality storage and packing procedures. Good housekeeping to be maintained at all times. Work Duties and Required Skills1. Move sacked feed and feed products from end of conveyor production line to warehouse storage, or trucks as required. Lifts feed sacks from conveyor line to hand truck and forklift trucks. Pushes hand trucks or operates forklift trucks to storage or loading area, stacks sacked feed in storage or other locations.2.
Practice good customer service procedures as required by company customer service guidelines. Remember that Customer Service is a top priority at ADM ANI.Customer Service Guidelines includes being prompt and courteous, loading customer?s trucks according to ADM ANI procedures within a reasonable amount of time with minimum customer delays3.
Work as a team player in the quality process. Notify Plant Supervisor or Plant Manager as necessary, if any out-of-spec quality conditions exist. Assure product is properly sealed, in proper packages, and is coded and tagged correctly.
Must have adequate quality training4. Communicate effectively with the packer operators regarding product counts and quality of packaging5. Ability to operate a fork truck proficiently and in a safe manner6. Housekeeping in the warehouse is to be performed according to the ADM ANI, Springfield plant Housekeeping plan. Other housekeeping duties as assigned7. Safely and efficiently operate all necessary equipment at all times (i.e. fork truck, etc) in a manner so not to harm yourself, your fellow employees, and the equipment. Follow all plant safety rules8. Work overtime as required9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Supervisor/Manager10. Fill out necessary paperwork properly, including but not limited to, Order loading forms and customer invoices11. Provide training as necessary to train new employees and lesser skilled employees when opportunities arise for them to learn and assume the stacker / loader position12. Must be able to easily lift all materials, as the job requires. Lifting ability must be at least 55 pounds from floor to a minimum height of 50 inches. Must be able to climb ladders13. Follow all plant rules of conduct at all times Relocation assistance is not available with this position.
