Outside Sales Representative
Job Purpose and Reporting Structure:Under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager this Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for on-farm sales to new and existing customers. Working closely with the ANIMART team to increase sales, promote products, and increase customer base. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop a trust with customers through consultative sellingRegularly communicate with manager and marketing department to report market intelligence that will develop marketing strategiesMaintain and expand business with key business channelsAnalyze and understand business needs and account planning to develop strategies for current and new business opportunitiesShare product knowledge with customers; demonstrate and familiarize accounts with our Product LineNetwork with your local vendor reps, ride alongs and attending local ag related eventsMaintain and expand the current customer base by providing world-class customer service consistentlyReach and exceed sales goalsWork as a team with your inside team with good communication, positive attitude and strong work ethicsDocumentation of visits and opportunities in CRMTravel to and attend trade shows, meetings, informational sales programs and committee meetingsPursue professional growth through continued education and company sponsored educational sessionsContribute to building a quality work environment by taking initiative, respecting others, and being a team player. QUALIFICATIONS:Professionalism, excellent organizational and communication skills (telephone and personal) are very important to this position. Applicable 4-year degree or equivalent work experienceExperience working with dealer farm stores and animal health knowledgeMust be willing to travelTrack record of over-achieving quotasPersuasive communication, negotiation, networking and interpersonal skillsCustomer driven, understand customers’ business needs, be solution oriented.Excellent written and oral communication skillsProficient computer skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office productsStrong organizational and documentation skillsAbility to follow directions, prioritize work, and manage multiple projectsClear driving record HOURS OF WORK:Full-time employment offering a competitive benefits packageWeekends and weeknights as neededTravel required with occasional overnightsApply for this job.
