Outside Sales/Territory Manager
Summary:Sell and market company products and services to existing and new accounts. Promote company products through personal visits, e-mail, telephone and trade shows. Applicant must have valid drivers license and a good driving record as a company sales truck will be provided.Territory covers Coastal California. In this position you will be on the road for the majority of your time. This position would involve daily interaction via phone/email with the regional location manager. Company vehicle, cell phone, laptop and other essentials provided. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain relationships of existing customers and secure new customersAnswer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and quotes.Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.Communicate quoted prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.Consult with clients after sales to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.Provide customers with product catalogs.Performs other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's Degree5 years outside agriculture sales experience.Background in Agriculture Other Skills and Abilities :Excellent Communication SkillsTime ManagementSelf-MotivatedSelf-StarterSense of UrgencyPersonableWell OrganizedPersuasive Compensation and Benefits: Base pay plus commission.
