Benefits Highlights:Working for the world’s largest crop input company with over 20,000 employeesCompetitive health care coverage401K company match and 401k bonus match potential4x10 base schedule with opportunity for overtime (up to a 5×10 or 6×10 schedule for winter/spring season based on production requirements)What you will do: Packaging:Proficient in all equipment, machines, and processes on Packaging lines; ensures equipment and machinery are operating properly and at production standardsCoordinate with maintenanceUnderstands Production Goals and ExpectationsUnderstands and completes Operator PM’s (preventative maintenance)Proficient in machine set-up/change overs and start-upsLimits waste – including raw material, finished goods, rework, parts, chemicals, supplies, and downtimeDemonstrates a Sense of Urgency when production lines are not producing, while ensuring Safety and Quality are not jeopardized Completes shop order paperwork and accurately accounts for inventory usedSafety Responsibilities:Ensure the proper use of machines and equipment to prevent accidents and damageUnderstands and follows all Safety Policies and ProceduresAlways wears the proper PPE for the task at hand following posted PPE requirementsAll Materials are Labeled and are placed in their right locationsMaintains a clean and safe work area Quality Responsibilities:Monitors quality throughout the process; communicates with QA when neededEnsures DPR (Defective Product/Raw Material Report) are complete and accurateEnsures correct coding of Bottles and Boxes; ensures boxes are square, free of defects, and taped correctly and have the correct quantity of bottlesEnsures bottles are free of spills, and are filled to the correct weight and levelEnsures Labeler, Capper, Sealer, and Quality checking machines are set up correctly and running as per requirementsWhat you will bring: Qualifications: Manufacturing/packaging experience is preferred but not requiredForklift certification preferred but not requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to work in a drug free work environment – required to pass the Drug & Alcohol TestingAbility to work in a Safety-First manufacturing facility requiredAbility to work in a sustained fast-paced manufacturing environmentSelf-motivated, ability to work with or without direct supervisionPhysical Requirements:Physically and medically capable of wearing a respiratorAbility to lift at least 50 # frequently during shiftAble to climb stairs and laddersAbility to stoop and bend frequentlyGood manual dexterity, vision, & hearing Ability to walk and stand for long periods of timeCapable of working in varying temperaturesAre you a good match?
