SUMMARY: This position will assist the Legal Department of Tyson Foods, Inc.'s (“Company”) in the areas of marketing, advertising and commercial contracts (e.g., sales agreements and schedules, real estate agreements, licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, review of marketing and advertising materials, etc.).Duties include: Supporting the Company's commercial and corporate attorneys, with a focus on assisting counsel in the preparation and review of marketing materials, advertisements, contracts and contract schedules primarily related to the Company's sales and marketing functions. Preparing and reviewing basic non-disclosure agreements and other template contracts, and coordinating with the Company's attorneys as appropriate. Working with the Company's contract management system (CMS), assisting internal clients in the use of CMS, and providing guidance on the correct use of Company forms and templates. Actively engaging in continuous improvement; and assisting the Company's attorneys with the development, preparation and roll-out of education programs and training sessions for internal clients. Participating on other projects and matters as assigned by the Company's commercial and corporate attorneys.REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a business discipline (e.g., marketing, finance, etc.) and a Paralegal certificate or degree from an accredited program is required.Experience: 5+ years' experience reviewing, preparing and basic editing of commercial contracts required, with an emphasis on sales and marketing agreements preferredComputer Skills: Proficient typing skills required. Microsoft Office expertise required and working knowledge of SharePoint strongly preferred. Prior experience working with contract management software strongly preferred.Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communications skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to interact with a broad range of clients including senior officers of the Company.Special Skills: Must be a team player who can work collaboratively with internal clients and other members of the legal department in a matrix organization, and must be able to support attorneys located at various offices.
