STAR Energy FS is part of the GROWMARK System, a regional agricultural cooperative serving more than 250,000 customers across North America.PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT?Accomplishes safe delivery of refined fuels to Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) accounts, while meeting or exceeding the client?s expectations.??ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS?Delivers bulk refined fuel product to Boone and other UPRR railroad yards as requestedUpdates and apprises management of all business related customer communicationsReloads delivery truck and stages it in preparation for next deliveryMonitors and controls product shrink to acceptable levels as outlined in company policyEnsures all delivery equipment is in safe working condition; Keeps daily truck inspection records and HOS records. Works safely at all times following all STAR Energy and UPRR policies.?OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS?Keeps rolling stock equipments, bulk plant area, and office clean and properly maintained to promote a positive company image.Follows GROWMARK?s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.?Performs all other duties as assigned.??REQUIREMENTS?Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 1 – 3 years or more of truck driving and/or bulk transport delivery related work experience to demonstrate knowledge to successfully deliver products to customers.?Must possess and maintain a minimum of a Class B CDL driver?s license with air brakes, hazmat, and tanker endorsements and satisfactory driving record. Valid medical card is an additional requirement.?Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.?Must successfully pass pre-employment drug testing, random DOT required drug testing, and DOT physical requirements?Available to work an on-call 12 hour shift during the regular work week, weekends, and on holidays; Extended hours of work may be necessary during customer peak demand times?Frequently exposed and required to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wet, etc.), as well as working at various heights or elevated platforms?Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK?s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.??We are an equal opportunity employer, including protected veterans and qualified individuals with disabilities.
