This position will directly impact the Global IT Quality and Smart Connected Factory initiatives.Creating and maintaining AWS Solutions in the Cloud including infrastructure and software components.Designing and Developing API's allowing for integration between our large number of Manufacturing SolutionsCreating and maintaining Manufacturing IT Operations DashboardsCreating and maintaining Manufacturing IT Operations Monitoring ScenariosCreating and maintaining Manufacturing IT Operations AlertsIntegrating Manufacturing IT Operations with ITIL Toolset What It TakesBasic Understanding of Cloud Computing ConceptsDevelopment Experience Using JAVA and .NET toolsetsUnderstanding of Data Structures and Databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL, or PostgreSQLExperience working within a team environmentPursuing a bachelors degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering; others may applyMust be registered as a full-time student at a local universityMust be able to commute to the work location on a daily basisGraduation date of May 2019 or later Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above 16 – 20 hours/week during the academic year35 – 40 hours/week during the summer semester A strong candidate will also haveExperience with Amazon Web ServicesDatabase Administration ExperienceMobile Application Development Experience What You'll GetAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go.
