RIGHT NOW.Primary Location: Vereinigte Staaten (US) – Iowa (US-IA) – Waterloo Function: Quality EngineeringTitle: Part-Time Student – Quality Engineering – Waterloo, IA – 50799 Your ResponsibilitiesThe part time student in this position will work closely with the OFP Quality Engineers in the drivetrain assembly departments.The position will include data gathering, data tracking and development of reports utilizing office software, and Deere specific software.Position will include quality planning, quality control, and quality improvement strategies. What It TakesGood understanding of basic office software packages such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word.An understanding of Tableau or QlikView would be an added plus.Comfortable working in a manufacturing/office environment.Excellent communicator and team player.Willing to learnPursuing a four-year degree in Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering or BusinessMust be registered as a full-time student at a local universityMust be able to commute to the work location on a daily basisGraduation date of May 2020 or later Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above16 – 20 hours/week during the academic year35 – 40 hours/week during the summer semester A strong candidate will also haveExperience working in a manufacturing/production environment.Good mechanical aptitude with experience in automotive, or agricultural machinery also helpful.A strong mathematical background in statistics would also be desired.
