Parts Business Specialist (NPI)
AGCO is currently seeking a Parts Business Specialist to join our New Product Introduction team in Hesston, KS, Batavia, IL or Jackson, MN. The Parts Business Specialist will play a key part in aligning material costs in the new product introductions and will be responsible for ensuring parts sourcing and purchase pricing coincides with production?s prices. In addition, the Parts Business Specialist?will ensure all key milestones in the new product development process are achieved.?Note: Relocation assistance is available for this position. Additionally, up to 20% travel may be required.?Responsibilities of the Parts Business Specialist:Coordinate activities of Parts Division disciplines in support of bringing new products to the fieldManage teams in implementing other cost reduction and service improvement projectsEnsure all Parts Division key milestones in the new product development process are achieved and documented in the AMPIP process toolCoordinate engineering changes across all Parts Division departments and manage changeover processesCommunicate service agenda requirements to the respective areas within the Parts DivisionFacilitate field fix to dealers through coordination with TSS, purchasing, procurement, and F&PDetermine the Recommended Initial Stocking QuantitiesDefine dealer stocking lists (RDSL) for New Product IntroductionsOversee and lead the new product introductions through full productionWork to mitigate project risks with the help of the multi-disciplinary teamDevelop and distribute reports to track progress of readiness for launchWork with all functional groups to identify needs and possible process improvementsCoordinate all requirements for field resolution issues?Required Qualifications of the Parts Business Specialist:3+ years of experience in project management, product development, purchasing, or sales of mobile industrial equipment, mobile agricultural equipment or aviation productsAbility to read technical drawings such as schematics, blueprints, or Pro-E modelingExperience extracting data out of databases as well as deciphering itAbility to run pivot tables and VLOOKUPS in Microsoft Excel?Preferred Qualifications of the Parts Business Specialist:PMP, lean principles, or Six-Sigma certificationsDealer knowledge, and understanding inventory, repair solutions, and productsExperience with Microsoft Project, SAP, Pro-E, or CADFarm equipment, materials management, or applicable industry experienceEducation of the Parts Business Specialist:Bachelor?s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Agribusiness, or Supply Chain; or 10+ years of experience and High school Diploma?About HesstonOnly 35 minutes from Wichita, Hesston is a place where industry, recreation, and families blossom, offering many amenities found in a larger city but in a small town atmosphere.
