Pea Protein Plant Utility/Packer – Enderlin, NDThis is a full-time, hourly position.
Job Summary This Utility/Packer position is primarily responsible for filling and stacking material into bags, sacks or boxes of product.
The position also includes a variety of responsibilities to assist process operations and reports directly to the Shift Supervisor. Job Responsibilities:

Employee responsible for operation of a semi-automatic packing systemSet up packer with correct information to fill and seal bags according to schedule. Stack bags and ensure that they are the correct weight with correct information.Use fork lift to transport complete pallets of product, inspect final packaged products, label pallets, load finished product onto trailers Assemble, fill, sample, and haul totes or super sacks and ensures that they are the correct weight with the correct information.Clean, prepare, and load bulk trailersAssist with raw material and co-product handlingComplete all necessary paper work for production totals Perform daily housekeeping list, cleans and checks packaging equipment daily, other equipment as needed, and fills out proper documentation.Perform Operator duties during times of rotation for breaksParticipate in trainings and follow all company policies, GMP, Food Safety, OHSA Safety regulations, environmental programs, and operational procedures to ensure the safety of co-workers and product integrity. Active involvement in Plant safety, committed to ADM?s zero injury safety culturePromotes the ADM Way and Core ValuesPerform other duties and assignments as required Work overtime as required. Education/Training Requirements: High School, equivalent or degree in related field preferredCombination of education and experience also acceptableMechanical experience or aptitude.Experience in food, chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing a plusSelf-motivated & commitment to continuous improvement Ability to follow instructions/directions with moderate supervisionAbility to multitaskStrong communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively as a member of team Experience with material handling equipment and or the ability to qualify to operate material handling equipment within 60 daysPhysical Demands: Job is physically demanding during CIP days, in addition to days when machinery is inoperable.
