Location: The Pesticide Expert would work out of our Kentucky location Description:Evaluate pesticide use, hazards and related evidence for court cases. The expert will be researching and analyzing pesticide usage for legal matters. The expert will review protocols and standards, and identify and interface with qualified laboratories if product testing is required. The expert will evaluate all aspects of pesticide use: from ineffectiveness; to errors in manufacture or formulation, qualifications of exterminator applicators; improper use of a pesticide; failure to prevent toxic exposure to the environment and/or people, etc. Requirements: 15+ years’ experience in Pesticides with at least 10 years of hands-on work in the formulation, development, testing, packaging and labeling and/or application of commercial and household pesticides, insecticides and rodenticides.Solid knowledge of applicable federal and industry safety standards and best practices for pesticide products and treatments.Technical clarification of pesticide application, means and methods, usage and amounts.Knowledge of hazard assessment techniques, exposure limits, and outcomes due to poor risk management practices for pesticide applications.Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a comprehensive team.Excellent technical and analytical skills needed.Strong communication skills- both written and verbal are essential.
