AC Nutrition – Plant Manager Location: Roswell, New MexicoReports to: General Manager, AC NutritionComments: This job description reflects assignment of essential functions but it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned as needed.Summary: Responsible for the successful operation of the AC Nutrition manufacturing facility. Accountability and team dynamics are critical to the success of this position and AC Nutrition. Both as a leader and participant.Strong written & verbal communication skills,Attention to detail is critical in this direct to consumer feed environmentFinancial and P&L experienceStrong computer skills to operate production systems as well as accounting and Microsoft products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Promote and support a safe environment for all employeesOperational excellence in the manufacturing processPromote and support outstanding customer serviceManage the AC Nutrition Freight operation for RoswellMaintain outstanding quality in all feed productsManage the P & L for the production and freight operationsMaintain the production facilities and equipment at optimal levelsWork closely with all other areas of AC Bluebonnet, LP to ensure the success of the entire organization. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (B.Sc. / B.A.) from four-year College or University; 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write accurate and concise reports and correspondence, and to develop business plans. Ability to speak Spanish as a second language to English is helpful. MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to produce and interpret graphs, charts, etc. Ability to read & interpret financial reports, industry statistics, etc. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position will manage 15-20 people, directly and indirectly, in the manufacturing and freight operations.Apply for this job.
