Kansas CityADM Animal Nutrition, a division of Archer Daniels Midland Company, is a leading manufacturing, nutrition and ingredient business offering a wide range of innovative products for the animal nutrition market. We are currently seeking a proven leader to manage a new warehouse/packaging facility in Kansas City. Detailed responsibilities for this position include: Coordinate with sales and production facilities to ensure proper resources are available to manufacture and package all products in time to meet the customer demandsTroubleshoot problems within the warehouse and the production facility when neededOversee and coordinate with the Quality Supervisor to ensure that products are being packaged according to provided specificationsCoordinate with maintenance department to efficiently maintain facility and equipment and, as needed, ensure appropriate funding is available for improvements, upgrades, etc.Identify food safety and/or product integrity issues and initiate/record actions for issues reportedCommunicate and review with customers any information deemed necessary (e.g. Food safety, product integrity, formulas, specifications, changes, etc.)Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. Requirements for this position include: Bachelor?s degree or related experience with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in extrusion, packaging or related field experience (previous supervisor/manager experience highly preferred). Prior experience or knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, Food Safety, measuring devices and laboratory equipment.Ability to operate a forklift in a safe manner and lift 50 lbs. above head without difficulty.Superior verbal and written communications, time management, and organizational skills.Computer knowledge with Microsoft Office applications.
