This includes a generous 401k match, health and dentalinsurance, 15 days of vacation, a variable bonus plan, and much more! Asthe  PLC Programmer/Automation Coordinator, you will work with theLocation Maintenance Team to maintain the local Process control network,programming standards, and propose new equipment for the location. Youwill be challenged with duties and responsibilities that will evolve throughoutthe year. Come grow your career with Pioneer, where you'll have opportunitiesto nurture your passion and use your talents to help solve some of the biggestchallenges facing the world today.  TheDysart facility traditionally runs corn drying 24/7 through harvest(September-October) and corn receiving, husk/sort, and shelling on one shiftalong with soybean harvest receiving.  The plant will operate 24/5 duringconditioning season (October ? March) then stagers down to one shift over theremainder of the spring and summer months. Required on-call work to ensureprocesses are running will apply to this role. Our scheduling allows for a muchbetter work-life balance for employees than typical widget manufacturing with24/7 operations does.Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:
Maintain integrity of the PLC automation servers and
PLC processors at location Troubleshoot and modify ladder logic programs on Allen
Bradley processors using RSLogix 500 and 5000 software Understand the strategy for the Process Control Network
operating production locations and is accountable for the implementation
of the strategy at the local level Lead and foster the safety culture with team members,
and drive maintenance and reliability of the process control network Develop a strategy for PLC automation support for the
location which includes training of operators Assist in the development, installation, inspection and
maintenance of new or enhanced mechanical and/or electrical equipment Preventative maintenance conducted on field or facility
equipment/machinery or vehicles Estimate labor and equipment costs, maintain
appropriate maintenance, inventory and repair logs May lead others in maintenance or oversee certain
program, processes or projects May be responsible for supporting mechanical projects
throughout the plantQualifications:Thefollowing are required: Two-year technical / vocational degree in Industrial
Technology with PLC automation and three years of related PLC Automation
experience Previous HMI graphical interface programming experience
using Allen-Bradley FTVSEFTVME and PanelBuilder32 Software Previous experience programming PLC ladder logic Previous electrical experience voltages ranging from
24v to 480v 3 phase Willing and able to work in a variety of areas (field,
plant, warehouse) Willing and able to climb and/or work in elevated
areas; standing and sitting for extended periods Willing and able to work both outdoors and indoors in
hot, cold, wet and dry conditions Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete
work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting Willing and able to work overtime hours including
weekend work and to be on call for operations Valid driver?s license
Problem solving skills, conflict resolution skills, and
teamwork skills Good  verbal, written, and interpersonal
communication skills Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Understanding/experience with Allen Bradley Willing to complete additional training if necessaryThefollowing are preferred: Previous HMI programming experience primarily with
Allen Bradley Factory Talk Studio Previous experience programming ladder logic with Allen
Bradley logix 500 and logix 5000 Knowledge of electrical panels and electrical
