Pork Supervisor B shift
This position is slated for candidates who are currently working at this facility. Priority consideration will be provided to these applicants first. If local Team Members are not selected, Team Members from other locations will then be reviewed for consideration.SUMMARY:Manage case-ready production to meet schedule, quality and yield standard; coordinate plant and departmental safety programs with general supervisor; review, analyze and make recommendations to promote efficient operation of department; maintain necessary standard of performance and manpower to assure that the activities within the department are carried out effectively and accurately; create an environment which harvests strong team development; and perform other duties as the need arises.REQUIREMENTS:Education: High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.Experience: 2 + years. Knowledge of converting operations, product yields, quality and pack experience; knowledge and understanding of case-ready pork preferred but not required.Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including a need to collect data and present in a user-friendly format to plant management.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.Travel: Initially, depending on skills of selected candidate, you may need to spend time in one of our other case-ready plants for training purposes.Supervisory Responsibilities: 2 years supervisory experience preferred.OtherREQUIREMENTS:Display sound judgment, leadership, and organizational skills; ability to accept and delegate responsibility.To view a full job description and submit your resume for consideration, click APPLY TO THIS POSITION below and follow the prompts.Apply for this job.
