Freeport, TX Where the Chemistry Happens We are seeking a professional like you to serve as a Predictive Maintenance Engineer working as part of the regional BASF 4.0 team. BASF 4.0 is a senior project that is focused on positioning BASF to lead the digital transformation in chemicals. A cross-discipline team is working to create digital solutions that improves BASF?s competitiveness across the value chain, including manufacturing, research, supply chain, and business models. The smart manufacturing topic is active not only in the core team in Germany, but additionally in the regions in the form of implementation and collaboration teams. NA 4.0 is the project team supported by the NA manufacturing leadership to guide North American manufacturing in its digital journey. You will support NA 4.0 implementation efforts to ensure successful adoption of BASF 4.0 solutions at Freeport and the NA region, creating value in safety, efficiency, reliability, and overall operational excellence.Formula for Success Leveraging your educational background and technical experience in Engineering, you will develop understanding of site operation needs and reliability challenges to leverage the tools in the predictive maintenance portfolio to strengthen our assets at the Freeport site. This will include opportunities to increase your depth of knowledge in mechanical equipment, asset reliability, and asset effectiveness.You will collaborate with site stakeholders, including maintenance, operations, and asset management teams to successfully manage change, and ensure successful adoption of digital technologies, especially predictive maintenance, and champion an entrepreneurial mindset to explore new focus areas for BASF 4.0 solutions within Freeport at the NA manufacturing community.You will lead the scoping, execution, and maintenance of the predictive maintenance strategy for the Freeport site. This includes use of BASF?s selected predictive maintenance platforms to model the critical assets at the Freeport site and ensure development and execution of a workflow to leverage the technology in the Freeport manufacturing community.You will use your strengths in communication and entrepreneurial drive to participate in regional and global communities to further develop smart manufacturing solutions, especially those relevant to predictive maintenance, and share best practices.
