CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Refined Fuels group. We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to be accountable for daily price positions via multiple distribution channels in order to maximize sales and petroleum margins by implementing refined fuels, ethanol, and bio-fuels pricing policies and strategies. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
You will: Manage the daily product pricing of Branded Refined Fuels including ethanol and bio-diesel blends in assigned territory as well as backup of other geographies as needed.Conduct research and build analytics required to complement pricing strategy.Develop tools to aid the analysis of competitive positioning through various sources including Oil Price Information Service (OPIS), Transmission Data Network (DTN), market contracts and sales.Perform continuous market analysis and provide consistant communication to appropriate stakeholders.Run ad hoc analysis of specific market anomalies.Administer Wholesale Product Programs including Temporary Price Allowances based on relative price position to maximize volume and margin, Terminal Incentives for maximizing economics and commercial bids. Recommend changes to processes for better efficiencies and market alignment.Maintain daily pricing tools for assigned territory.Build relationships with 3rd party in order to maximize offerings.Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.Basic Qualifications: (required)Bachelor’s degree3 plus years of refined fuels, marketing, sales or pricing experience to include:Basic market and pricing knowledgeUnderstanding of Nymex and basis facets of rack pricingPreferred Qualifications: (desired)Bachelor’s degree in an Economics or Data/Analytics related study
