Pricing Analyst? Erlanger, KY This is an exempt level position.Job Summary: The Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting the pricing process for the flavors segment of ADM?s Nutrition division.
This position will perform detailed analysis on a variety of factors, including material cost, manufacturing cost and packaging cost to propose customer pricing consistent with the pricing strategy.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage intercompany pricing; set cost from Erlanger to other ADM entities using the transfer pricing rules, ensure compliance by selling entity through price project approvals and recalculate ICP on a regular basis due to material cost changes
Assist with routine price project reviews and approvals working with account managers to research price proposals Work with Purchasing to update current and market costs based on existing business and new business opportunities Manage unique pricing requests included but not limited to: Work with internal logistics team to determine the costs to assess for delivered pricing upon customer requestWork with internal cost and production teams to determine the costs to unitize and provide non-standard packaging types Work with internal supply chain team to determine the costs associated with rejections and product loss at contract manufacturers, order cancellations and changes and non-standard quality testing Calculate the costs for customer rebates and royalties due
Assist with Master Data Management needs for Nutrition business unit sales reporting but not limited to: Monthly submission of new SAP customers and SAP items Monthly submission of sales and cost data Implementing new attributes for reportingAssist in getting additional sales entities up and running on BW reporting Other responsibilities, as needed
Job Qualifications: 5+ years of business experience with an emphasis in sales analysis, cost analysis or pricing/margin management 5+ years of AS400/MAPICS experience preferred Strong organization and project management skillsDetail orientation, solid analytical skills, good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallySolid Microsoft Suite experience is a must with an emphasis in Excel Working Conditions: Employees in this position working at this location are [or may be] exposed to various potential chemical and food allergens due to the nature of our business and the requirements of the job.
