Position Summary:The Global Business Services Center has an opening for a full-time representative with our Inventory Reconciliation team in the Decatur office.
This job will have flexible hours able to accommodate most schedules. The successful candidate will be engaged in a wide variety of activities focused on controlling transactional services.
The position will be involved with many of ADM's accounting systems, along with other systems used by controlling colleagues.
The level of work will depend on the abilities and experience of the candidate.
Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalentAssociates Degree PreferredKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, etc.) and IBM systems are a plus.Ability to function independently in a deadline oriented environmentA team player with strong customer service skills Strong problem solving and analytical skillsFlexible, willing to do what it takes to get the task completedDependable and desire to learn with a positive attitudeAbility to effectively communicate, facilitate and cross-train Interpersonal ability to actively listen, clarify, lead, or channel a discussion
Responsibilities:Reconcile warehouse inventories Work to identify and resolve outstanding reconciling items ? including maintaining accurate records and properly reporting in a timely manner.Work efficiently and expediently to accomplish set goals for reconciliations Provide outstanding customer service for ADM?s Internal and External Customers by efficiently executing transactional processes.Effectively plan to define outcomes, identify changes, and implement solutions.Ensure compliance with all ADM policies and procedures.Recommend, develop, and implement process and system improvements to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.Interaction with multiple levels of accounting, IT, Internal Audit, and commercial and operational management. Global Business Service Representatives will potentially have responsibility for:Preparation of various monthly reports, distribution, and filingAdditional job functions within the Global Business Services group could be available based on the skillset of the successful candidate
