We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, results-driven Process Engineer who will provide technical support for an acid catalyst manufacturing facility which includes new product implementation, product optimization and continuous improvement, and capital project support. As a Process Engineer at our Avon location, you will be part of a team responsible for hands-on development of catalyst production processes, providing technical support for the facility which will involve monitoring process performance, troubleshooting and problem solving, as well as capital project support and equipment design. The successful candidate will be an active participant in cross-functional project teams, global supply initiatives, process engineering teams, and operational improvement teams. Our site is small with the opportunity to participate in multiple business aspects and make a large impact in the success of the business while leveraging the support of a large global company. Responsibilities include: ? Troubleshooting, problem solving and proactive support of process areas in the facility ? Driving technical improvements for processes through collaboration with on-site teams to monitor and manage critical process performance in the facility, including interaction with operations, maintenance, and quality ? Supporting new product and technology introductions to the plant, interfacing with global teams including R&D ? Working with local and global capital teams focusing on catalyst process design ? Monitoring and reporting on process performance, product cost, and operational logistics as well as developing technical assumptions and costs for annual budget ? Designing and developing operations, equipment, process, and methods ?
