General:The Decatur Controlling team is seeking a Process Excellence Lead for a role in the Decatur office.
The successful candidate for this position will play a vital role in providing finance support for strategic initiatives within the Decatur Controlling group, including optimization of existing processes and management of finance integration activities for acquisitions. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of ADM and/or outside experience Job Requirements: Bachelor?s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is requiredAbility to function in a challenging environment with multiple changing and competing prioritiesAbility to effectively manage a process, fully utilizing resources, meeting process deadlines, and service level expectationsAbility to effectively manage a project, including the creation of project plans and timelinesStrong planning and organizational skillsEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to fully document an end-to-end process (process flow mapping), identify waste and areas of improvement, and execute/implement changes in order to standardize, simplify, and make the process more efficientAbility to effectively manage and drive changeAbility to interact with and influence various levels of finance, commercial and operations managementExperience in project management activities and leading complex projects is preferredKnowledge of ADM accounting and reporting processes is preferredStrong analytical abilities, initiative, and problem solving skillsCommitment to be a positive & professional team member as well as the ability to function independently
Responsibilities: Partner with finance colleagues to understand current state finance processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement feasible solutionsEffectively develop project plans and define outcomes, identify and communicate changes, implement solutions, and document process changesOversee the development and implementation of process and system improvements to improve efficiency, lower costs, and strengthen controlsProvide status updates to project stakeholdersMonitor status of efficiency projects and coordinate actions necessary to ensure projects are completed within project plan and timeline
