Process Optimization Specialist ? Plant Operations
Position Purpose This position is responsible for the ongoing optimization and continuous improvement in the Operations area (Plant Operations, FSQR, Warehousing, Maintenance & Reliability) within Cargill Cocoa and Chocolate Milwaukee Plant, much of which is enabled by the SAP solution.
The primary focus is on leading value realization projects and process improvements, which includes process, people/behaviors, roles/responsibilities, culture, strategy, and systems/data as it relates to data and information flow in the Milwaukee Plant location.
This is done through collaboration within CCC, with our value chain partner businesses, and with Global IT, through leveraging best practices with other businesses, and through bringing the outside in. Principal Accountabilities50% Identify, lead, and drive optimization/continuous improvement activities to drive end to end value and data & information process consistency, collaborating with subject matter experts and leadership across the business.
Continuous improvement activities will be defined and prioritized on an ongoing basis.
As many BPO team projects are cross-functional and based on business impact, it?s expected to work on efforts outside of immediate area as needed.35% Ensure plant readiness and commitment to ongoing optimization, value realization activities, and enhancements. 5% Implement, maintain, and communicate metrics to track value captured through optimization initiatives and to ensure the sustainment and performance of the Plant Operations process areas. Drive continuous improvement and creation/execution of action plans where metrics indicate need.5%
Communicate frequently with plant and project leadership to inform on project status, align on resource needs, and prioritize projects.5% Other responsibilities as identified.Skills:
Minimum Required ?
Bachelor degree in Business, IT or Engineering? 3+ years of business experience and/or IT experience. ? Previous experience working in the Plant Operations space?
Experience with SAP and/or BI reporting ?
Ability to travel 5%Success Factors?
Strong analytical skills; capable of breaking down complex issues and identifying key drivers; can identify cross process upstream and downstream impacts?
Proven ability to collaborate, facilitate, and communicate with individuals across a broad range of education, experience, and functional spectrums?
Very strong ability and appetite to learn and apply new conceptsPreferred ?
Experience working in a Cargill SAP instance ?
Demonstrated experience leading project work in large scale projects ?
