General The NA GBS has an opening for a full-time Process Supervisor in the Decatur office. This job will have flexible hours able to accommodate most schedules. The primary responsibilities will include the management of the accounts payable support functions, while focusing to identify and drive improvements that reduce errors, lower transactional processing costs, and increase quality.
Use of process excellence, change management, project management, and customer service is paramount.
Experience: Bachelor?s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field preferredPrior training/experience with continuous improvement methodologiesPrior exposure to ERP implementations with direct contribution to design and testing. Prior experience within a Shared Services Center or GBS organization preferred Job Requirements: ? Ability to effectively manage a process, fully utilizing resources, meeting process deadlines, and service level expectations ? An ability to lead, direct, motivate, coach, and develop colleagues, along with demonstrated team building skills ? Ability to function independently, identifying problems and opportunities for improvement, combined with the ability to formulate and implement feasible solutions ? Ability to identify, implement, and thoroughly analyze metrics for a process ? Ability to establish clear stretch goals for individuals and teams, and manage performance against them ? Ability to fully document an end-to-end process (process flow mapping), identify waste and areas of improvement, and execute/implement changes in order to standardize, simplify, and make the process more efficient ? Strong organization skills with ability to prioritize and follow up on action items or escalations? A strong understanding of controls and how to identify potential points of risk in a process? Ability to effectively manage and drive change within Shared Services.? Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including formal written communications, presentations, and channeling discussions/meetings effectively ? Ability to interact with and influence various levels of finance, commercial, and operations management ? Excellent interpersonal skills to actively listen, clarify, lead or channel a discussion, plan and develop ideas ? Ability to function in a challenging environment with multiple changing and competing priorities ? Strong problem solving and analytical skills ? Ability to effectively manage a project, including the creation of project plans and timelines? Ability to project a persistently positive outlook ? Ability to provide leadership to a large team of individuals.? Extensive experience with, knowledge of, or ability to learn systems used by ADM to drive process and system improvements? Advanced Microsoft Office experience preferred? Dependable and desire to learn with a positive attitude
Responsibilities: ? Oversee designated processes to ensure that deadlines and customer expectations are met and that resources are being properly and efficiently utilized ? Partner with other Process Supervisors to ensure consistency across the SSC organization, specifically with colleague development, communication, and process changes ? Provide immediate and constructive performance feedback to the employees? Effectively plan and define outcomes, identify and communicate changes, implement solutions, and document process changes.? Effectively communicate and partner with process stakeholders/customers to establish service level expectations and develop/sustain customer relationships ? Organize and lead multiple meetings, including preparation of agenda, speaking in front of large groups of people, and creating action items for attendees ? Creation and upkeep of detailed documentation for assigned processes including end-to-end process flow maps, SIPOC documents, Standard Operating Procedures and Training documentation, and SOX materials ? Ensure that teams have training materials and plans in place for each process ? Utilize performance and quality metrics to make decisions on current and future state of processes? Oversee the development and implementation of process and system improvements to improve efficiency, lower costs, and strengthen controls ? Assist in the onboarding of new work into the NA Shared Services Center ? Ensure compliance to procedures, guidelines, and ADM policies ? Monthly analysis of process costs and metrics ? Hire, manage, develop, and coach direct reports ? Evaluate employee performance, providing timely and honest feedback to employees ? Occasional travel will be required
