Works with Procurement leadership and other Procurement colleagues to develop analytics to assist in metrics reporting and market intelligence. Creates RFx”s, spend and savings reports. Interfaces with Accounts Payable for invoice payment resolution for the Charles City facility. Executes the SAP item add and Material Evaluation Process. Seeks to identify and implement continuous improvement to systems that Procurement interfaces with. Provides support to Procurement group regarding quality issues, continuous improvement opportunities, project management, raw material and packaging material evaluation committees and supplier relationship management.Position ResponsibilitiesIs responsible for executing and entering changes in the ETS system as well as leading communications with internal stakeholders and colleagues on the progress and status. Procurement Performance: Supports Procurement leadership by regularly composing, analyzing and preparing reports to assist in managing department and supplier performance. Compiles and analyzes statistical data to establish benchmark or cost price objectives. Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and key market indicators. Partners with Procurement Lead to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Procurement Sourcing: Supports the Procurement Lead in the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials & packaging supplies and/or other components necessary for operation. May prepare competitive bid packages, review proposals, analyzes trends, prepare summary packages, and maintain necessary records. Communicates on a daily basis with various levels, groups and colleagues throughout the organization.Functional/Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of applicable technical standards, techniques, principles, theories, concepts and Zoetis processes and industry practices/standards.
