Product Line Analyst-Food
Cargill Salt has an opportunity for a Product Line Analyst to work in our Food segment.?Cargill is a trusted salt supplier to the food manufacturing and foodservice?industries. Our salt portfolio includes core ingredient granulated salts, specialty flake salts, a full line of purified & gourmet sea salts, as well as our ingredient systems and sodium reduction products.?Working in a highly energetic, results-oriented environment, the Salt Product Line Analyst-Food is responsible for advanced analysis of product line data to provide critical input for key business initiatives.??This position is responsible for taking internal & external information, conducting analysis, and providing recommendations.? The position will work closely with the product line managers and will provide analysis and robust scenarios to guide business initiative decisions.? This position will work primarily with internal stakeholders (product line managers, sales, finance, supply chain, Food Leadership Team) and may have opportunities to work with external contacts (customers, trade associations).??Principal Accountabilities60% Business Analysis & RecommendationsWith limited oversight, analyze
and interpret data and information gained through specific business and
market analytics and guide key stakeholders on how to use this data to
make sound business decisions.Provide analysis for new business/product growth opportunitiesDevelop data driven scenarios for critical product line decisionsEvaluate commercial opportunities and provide progress updates on key business opportunities; including new products, projects & customer opportunitiesProactive look at key data indicators to project future opportunitiesCreate visualization of data to provide clear, concise conclusions?30% Business Partner & Project Management

Bachelor?s Degree 5 years of work experience in commercial, marketing, operations, sales, and/or analyticalDemonstrated strong problem solving, analytical and financial modeling skills.Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel. Alteryx, SAP Experience a plus.Ability to integrate and transform data from multiple sources to develop meaningful datasetsStrong collaboration skills, ability to work effectively within a matrix organization.Communication: strong verbal, written, presentation skills.Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills.A passion and dedication to serving customers in an enterprise team environment.Initiative and eagerness to grasp and use new concepts, technologies, and processes.Self-starter that is able to work independently and balance multiple tasks.Ability to move forward with ideas and projects in spite of ambiguity.Ability to successfully work in a cross-functional, matrixed organization where building alignment is critical to success.Must be willing and able to travel approximately 15% of the time.?Preferred?
MBA and/or degree in FinanceBroad understanding of food ingredients, technologies, applications and market drivers.
