The product line manager will be based in Minneapolis, MN and will report to the Fertilizer group.
This position will focus on sales and supply chain management of a specific fertilizer product originated out of Decatur, IL.
This position will require aggressive new business development strategies along with management of ADM?s core Fertilizer customers within the region.
This role will work with multiple ADM businesses to provide further growth and development within the Territory.
Strategic planning, logistics and follow though communication will be key elements for this candidate.
Job RequirementsBachelor?s degree in business, accounting or agriculture.
Two to three years of Ag related business experience preferred.
Demonstrate capacity to evaluate and manage supply chains, along with understanding how to conduct day to day sales & customer service calls. Basic understanding of grain/futures trading along with freight utilization. Commitment to be a positive & professional team leader.Ability to function effectively, both independently and on group effortsStrong analytical abilities, initiative and problem solving skills necessary to adapt to a rapidly changing environmentEffective oral and written communication skills as well as ability to interface with various levels ADMProficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook and PowerPointProficient in the use and application of mobile technology and ADM sanctioned social mediaStrong organizational and time-management skillsEarly adopter of new technology and ability to lead and influence other target users ResponsibilitiesManage day to day logistics along with growing the customer base for the specific productResponsible for proper customer account maintenance, including A/RSome travel in the territory of responsibility Strong self-motivation and strategic creativityProvide analysis and input into further development and success of ADM Relocation is not available with this position.
