Product Supply Program Manager – #01SPQ
Bayer is seeking a highly motivated, influential leader to join our dynamic team based in St. Louis, Missouri as a Product Supply Program Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving medium- to large-sized cross functional programs in support of global Product Supply???s transformation and strategic initiatives. They will partner with Business, IT, Finance, Change Management, HR and other stakeholders to lead program teams through the planning, execution and close out phases of given programs. Responsibilities:Lead a cross-functional team to deliver high quality program results in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlinesProvide overall program leadership, guidance, and manage all aspects of a given program, including requirements gathering, business case creation, and implementationEnsure that the scope of the projects within the program align with business prioritiesCreate and maintain a consolidated program-level plan and review project management plans to ensure alignment to meet program timelines and objectives, including workstream interdependenciesProactively set performance expectations and manage expectations of program deliverables and requirements, yielding consistent resultsLead program financial oversight and analysisManage program-level risks and interdependenciesEffectively communicate program status to audiences of all levelsEstablish and maintain program level change and quality control processesMaintain excellent relationships with all levels of the matrix organizationEstablish metrics that are true indicators of the program healthQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Minimum bachelor degree (or equivalent) and 10+ years??? experience in project/program/portfolio management10+ years of business experience & 5+ years of proven experience in a Program Manager roleExperience in managing complex projects across multiple disciplines and/or teamsEffectively lead and influence peers, key stakeholders and the broader organizationAbility to build networks and relationships at all levels of the organizationMust be an effective team player and proficiently work with globally diverse cross functional teamsStrong written, verbal communication and presentation skillsResults oriented with the ability to effectively prioritizeAbility to creatively solve problems and provide timely recommendationsExperience within PMI methodologiesPreferred Qualifications: PMP certification preferredPMI, Six Sigma, Lean Certification is a plusKnowledge of software development lifecycle principles and methodologiesBasic knowledge of Supply Chain Management Bayer successfully completed the acquisition of Monsanto in June 2018, bringing together Monsanto???s leadership in seeds and plant traits with Bayer???s leadership in chemical and biological crop protection.
