Geismar, LA Where the Chemistry Happens We are seeking a professional likeyou to be responsible for supporting the day to day operation of the respectiveplant that the position supports. You willprovide technical support needed to execute the required production plan. This position requires strong leadership inthe area of safe plant operation and adherence to BASF Process Safety rules andpolicies as well as applicable environmental regulations such as Title V, RCRA,HWC MACT, etc. where applicable. You willplay an important role in driving standardization across shifts, optimizingfixed and variable unit costs, and working closely with other support groupslike Maintenance to ensure that proper priorities are placed on items in theMaintenance backlog. You will beinstrumental in leading troubleshooting efforts when problems arise and be asolution provider.Formula for Success ? Demonstratingyour technical knowledge, you will be responsible for critical PSM/RMP/RCMSelements and processes, MOC?s, PSSR?s, Interlock and Bypass Procedures, SafeWork Permit, Lockout Tagout, Operational Procedures, Confined Space, EmployeeParticipation, and Hot Work.?
