Brighton, CO Where the Chemistry Happens We are seeking a professional like you to take the initiative to guide the manufacturing scheduling related planning, data analysis, forecasting, day-to-day recommendations and implementation. This position will be based at a single site manufacturing operation in Brighton, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for on-time delivery, in accordance with manufacturing and shipping schedules while meeting throughput, inventory, and operating expense objectives. You will also be responsible for leading continuous improvement projects to drive cost and efficiency within the materials team value stream and performance as it pertains to the assignment. This will support the overall competitive position of the business, and the profitability of the operation.Formula for Success Leveraging your education and proven experience in materials or inventory management, you will understand and monitor production capabilities to ensure production planning accuracy and ongoing alignment of capability to customer demands.Demonstrating your experience in SAP-MRP, you will understand and monitor supply inputs to ensure planning corresponds to limitations of external influencers.Your strong organizational skills and customer focus will be vital as you will be responsible for accurately scheduling work orders to support customer delivery requirements, based on system lead time, vendor inputs and knowledge of process times.Successfully engaging across the organization, you will participate in S&OP meetings to ensure proper alignment of production planning with customer demands.Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential as you understand and communicate customer demands to the site and specifically the production teams to ensure site success. Also, you will communicate production plans to Product Managers and Sales staff to ensure customers are given accurate information on product availability.Utilizing your experience in manufacturing/operations, you will ensure production plans and orders lead the production team to success in supporting business needs.Promote site safety initiatives, you will participate in ERP observations and audit activities.
