Production Planning Manager

This position will be responsible for, but not limited to:?Coach, support and develop employees on your team in a manner that fosters effective collaboration and teamwork, demonstrating and modelling the Core Values. Coordinate plant harvest operations as assigned. ?Establish and support individual and team performance goals that are attainable and aligned with business strategy. Consult with Human Resources for guidance and to ensure compliance.?Participate in the labor planning needs assessment for all regular, temporary, and seasonal staff. ?Plan organize and direct the plant operations which ensure the most effective return on assets. ?Review and approve plans for the control of planned production output, budget spending, material efficiency, and engineering/maintenance effectiveness. ?Manage the daily plant operations which may include, but is not limited to: receiving, bulk management, conditioning, maintenance, inventory management, warehousing and distribution. ?Ensure on-time delivery to meet both business and customer needs. ?Will directly coordinate various phases of plant operations. ?Make recommendations and assist in developing the plant?s operating and capital budgets.?Identify and prioritize productivity improvement opportunities at the location. ?Provide input and discuss proposals for the development of the plant business plan.Qualifications:In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: ?Bachelor?s Degree?3-5 years? experience in leadership or supervisory roles, preferably in production operations, supply chain, or logistics?Able to develop, coach, train, and counsel others?Previous supervisory or significant leadership experience?Able to interact effectively at all levels of the organization ?Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills?Excellent at problem solving and decision making ?Priority Management skills?Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PP, Outlook)?Willing and able to work in a variety of conditions (field, plant, warehouse ? hot, cold, dust, etc.).?Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodationsThe following are preferred:?SAP Experience?Lean Manufacturing Experience/Understanding OR Six Sigma CertificationWe are excited to announce that Corteva Agriscience? is the name of the new Agriculture Division of DowDuPont?.
