In your role, you will manage and operate facilities safely and efficiently, encourages employee ownership, demonstrate and promotes effective decision-making, maintain high personal standard, and establish/maintain high crew performance standards. You will have direct supervision over management represented and hourly employees in respective area. You will seek out and solve process problems and creates improvements in plant operation. You will be responsible for evaluating new processes and optimizing those that exist across respective area. You will additionally serve as the process expert for the process area, direct plant trials, and troubleshoot plant quality issues.Formula for Success: You Will?Using your robust problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, you will evaluate and maintain equipment to ensure they are operated in compliance with all environmental regulations/permits. Through creativity and initiative problem solving, you will also identify process bottlenecks and develop plans to resolve constraints.Leveraging your education, or 10 years of manufacturing experience with 5 years in management role (including direct supervision), You will lead the plant in safe and high quality execution of production objectives.Your proven competencies in analytical thinking, communication, entrepreneurship, coaching, and work management as you ensure productivity is at budgeted levels or higher and proactively pursue improvements and develop plans to mitigate negative productivity issues. You will additionally develop and maintain high housekeeping, safety, and performance standards for area(s) of responsibility.Your commitment to customer service will be evident as you promote Customer First mindset by ensuring quality and on-time shipment goals are met or exceeded.Successfully engaging across the business, you will serve as manufacturing representative with development and management of capital projects.Demonstrating your leadership skills and your ability to motivate employees, you will provide supervision and coaching to crews to maximize performance in support of business goals. You will also train operators in the use, maintenance, safety, and operation of test equipment and new or modified production equipment.
