Production Supervisor (Hourly) ? Kansas City, KSWe have an opening for Hourly Position for Production Supervisor at the Crosswind Packaging division in Kansas City, KS — this position will be responsible for :
Safe operation of all equipment associated with assignments. Comply with all company policies for safety and security. Carry out good housekeeping practices. Carry out preventative maintenance procedures as directed. Report (and stop) any unsafe conditions or acts to Plant Manager and/or other appropriate management personnel. Perform duties as assigned by Production Manager and/or other appropriate management personnel. Follow and review all standard operating procedures for revisions or improvements. Follow procedures dictated by Floor Traveler for each product. Write repair work orders. Train personnel. Exhibits flexibility and reliability. Insure that all quality specifications associated with products are met. Prepare reports of production, safety incidents, etc. for review by Plant Manager and Director of Operations. Participate and conduct safety meetings. Desirable to have a forklift license. Recommended promotion or disciplinary action amongst direct reports. Treats fellow employees with mutual respect. Responsibility to identify and communicate food safety and/or product integrity issues to appropriate personnel. Authority to purchase necessary chemicals and lubricants. Verify/monitor all HACCP & FSMA programs and immediately notify appropriate management when parameters are met. Responsible for verifying a preventive control measure, in this position?s absence, refer to ?In Case of Absence? above. Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Promotes the ADM Way and Core Valuesa high school diploma or GEDShould have experience in a small packaging environment or experience in a manufacturing environment. Need to demonstrate the ability to lead personnel. Prove ability to work in a safe manner. Ability to solve problems, to direct people and to communicate, tabulate and record data. Good mechanical aptitude.
