Production Supervisor, 2nd Shift

Directly supervise line production employees to meet production, food safety and employee safety goals (approx. X employees)
Train and coach employees on their jobs
Monitor and manage policy enforcement, such as leaves and attendance
Serve as the primary resource for employee questions, concerns and issues
Motivate employees to be their best
Usually hot or cold, depending on the department
Standing and walking on the production floor
Occasional work on the line to train employees
Primarily leading, talking to and working with production employees
Working with other supervisors and departments (maintenance, QA, etc.)
Occasionally, need to work through disputes and challenges with other employees and supervisors
Shift hours: X to X
Average X hours per week
Occasional weekend work based on production needs (avg. X Saturdays per year; scheduled production runs on weekends are compensated at X rate)
Experience in a manufacturing facility or meat processing facility
Prior leadership experience
Track record of success and career growth
