Position Responsibilities * Packaging, filling buffers, labeling and other functions in a manufacturing/lab environment. * Programming, troubleshooting, developing, and maintaining preventative maintenance programs. * Production Department”s technical support for maintaining all automation equipment. * Interact with and provide guidance for maintenance personnel to repair equipment. * Ability to work overtime, weekend coverage, and respond to critical call requests
Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.Minimum of one year working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Technical Skills and Competencies Requirements Hands-on relevant experience evaluating automated equipment and processes and solving automated equipment issues. Robotic programming skills to refine movement using various controllers. Good oral and written communication skills. Must be PC literate in Microsoft Word and Excel. Good mechanical and/or electrical aptitude. Experience using industrial controllers. Ability to read mechanical prints and electrical prints. Good methodical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment and related issues. Must be organized with the discipline to solve problems with permanent solutions. Work closely with area supervisor on project timelines. * Oversee the operation of automation installation and start-up. * Troubleshoot and problems solve machine issues as they arise. * Operate machines as needed. * Verify that work instructions and other paperwork are properly in place. * Understands and follows the site”s EHS policy and the EHS impacts associated with their work activities. * Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
