Position PurposeCargill Finance Shared Services (FSS) is a service provider of activities that are common across the company and are critical to Cargill's ability to carry out day-to-day business operations. FSS effectively and efficiently delivers finance and accounting services for Cargill's business units enabling them to focus on their strategies to drive value creation and growth while serving our customers. In FSS we partner together with business units to constantly look for new opportunities to enhance the way Cargill operates.?This position provides strategic leadership for all project management activities across FSS. This includes technology related projects with multi-enterprise/function impact. This position provides project management and project manage expertise to project teams and business leaders.?Principal Accountabilities75% Project ManagementAccountable for helping define project objectives and project plans.?Manages projects timelines and overall project plans by providing leadership to the extended core teams on project planning, project execution, project control and business case.?Identify and escalate program risks and mitigating actions?Exercise influence over project leads to help ensure achievement of program milestones?Accountable for all program status report outs at appropriate level for audience?Identifies, recommends and implements project management best practices based on industry leading knowledge of project management.15% Relationship Management?Create and maintain working relationships with key senior stakeholders, which include but are not limited to FSS Leaders, BU Leaders, Finance Leaders, Enterprise project tags.?Engage and influence organization and users to reach project goals.?Provides routine project updates and status to Program Sponsor and stakeholders, assesses and communicates issues and threats to overall project milestones.?10% Business Results, Metrics, Scorecards and Reporting?Ensure appropriate metrics are maintained, analyzed and acted on in order to ensure project effectiveness.?Identify appropriate project metrics and milestones.Skills:
RequiredBachelors Degree or equivalent experience?Program management experience in managing global projects across multiple businesses and geographies.?15+ years of project management and business / industry work experience, with at least 5 years of experience Project Management Methodology, Project Management tools and processes?Demonstrated ability to lead Change Management efforts?Ability to Deliver Results?Strong collaboration and influencing skills?Demonstrated ability to be successful in ambiguous situations?Demonstrated ability to influence others and build relationships and communicate at all levels of the global organization and cross-function/platform?Ability to travel up to 20%Preferred?Master?s Degree (MBA).?Project management certification preferred.
