Program Manager, Global Data Historian
The Worldwide Plant Operations Systems & Controls Data Historian Leader is responsible for achieving objectives and governance working under delegated authority from Corporate Plant Systems and Controls leadership within the plant data historian area which is inclusive with the E&IA and BAITS arena. This position is accountable to the Plant Ops Systems & Controls leadership for the responsibilities outlined below.??General Responsibilities:?Maintain an understanding of enterprise environment and overall value for Plant Operations Systems & Controls Data HistoriansDevelopment and implementation of value-added solutions, service delivery, training and education, product support and vendor management of data historians to Cargill enterprise locations globallyLead strategy and align support for the development, lifecycle and maintenance of data historians within the Cargill enterprise environment (suggest: Lead the product strategy specific to the product road-map, enhancements, versioning and alignment of current and future capabilities to functionality)Document and Management of standards and governing principles related to use of Plant Ops Systems & Controls Data HistoriansRelationship and service level management of vendors, internal service providers and integrators supporting Plant Ops Systems & Controls Data Historians ?(suggest : Relationship management and operational level service level support of services delivered by trusted integrators, IT/OT relationship with IT/OSC, internal and external vendors.Monitors overall user satisfaction and makes adjustments to Program deployment and delivery of Plant Ops Systems & Controls Data HistoriansDocuments solutions, educates user base and applies continuous improvements for functional and operational performance standards and best practices, with applicable compliance factors for the Cargill enterprise Data HistoriansPrimary functional contact between Cargill and Plant Historian vendor on matching the product and service offering with Cargill?s today and future needsPrimary facilitator of Plant Ops Systems & Controls Data Historian CoE (Centers of Expertise) and key users community?Areas of concentration for this position include:?StrategicIdentify, design and align enterprise processes and practices and ensure value and compliance of data historian solutionsAssist with creation and value proposition of distinctive business value Cargill businessesPartner with the global IT functions, service delivery organizations, governing bodies, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and regional IT support teams to leverage identification, development and delivery of value added services through Data Historian applicationsWork with businesses, Vendor, internal and external service providers, to demonstrate and promote value, develop ways to track and capture feedback, success stories, best practices and supporting information to perpetuate broader usage with solution resultsResponsible for data historian capabilities with a goal of improving business processes and efficienciesAlign with capital effectiveness teams (PDP-built template, engineering, project people, and operations) to ensure the value of product-lifecycle management is practiced and projects utilizing mined, data historian information see value, efficiency and savings impactLead Center of Excellence collection of talent, organize contributions, identify trends and facilitate communicationEducation and Talent BuildingIdentify and support enterprise champions to facilitate collaboration of concepts, ideas, product development, service delivery improvementsIdentify and opportunities for growth of product knowledge, technical talent, solution, process and service delivery improvementAssures communication and education of Plant Ops Systems & Controls Data Historian owners/managers users on the use of core applications and client applications.Work within Plant Ops Systems & Controls organization in developing, maintaining, and acquiring Plant Ops Systems & Controls Data Historian talent across Cargill?s BUs. Work within the Plant Ops Systems & Controls organization, ensuring BUs/regions are appropriately resourced. Support/oversee as well provide coaching and leadership development to all Plant Ops Systems & Controls Data Historian professionalsWork with L&D to develop and achieve appropriate development opportunities and educational tools for our professionals for data historian and supporting tools and architectureOperationalNetwork Monitoring (NOC) liaisonUser Training and EducationExternal and Internal support organization, education related to Cargill enterprise environmentSecurity Validation and Audit activitiesFacilitate Management of Change (technology, process, talent)Testing and Configuration management, user support and standardizationProject Management of solution and supporting operationsLiaison between Cargill and Integrators to support installs / maintenance and PI configuration as scoped / based on site requirementsDevelop Scopes of work for solutions and provide leadership for new opportunities for additional supporting Data Historian toolsMaintain information and education on industry data Historians with Cargill requirements in mind ? to compare and contrast optional productsWork with new/potential Plant Ops Systems & Controls Data Historian deployment sites to establish/identify processes necessary to utilize the capabilities of the selected Plant Ops Systems & Controls Data HistorianWork with appropriate leadership teams, councils, and review teams, to help ensure the alignment of Plant Ops Systems & Controls Data Historian processes to the broader Tartan/IT functionsCoordinate with the Corporate IT organization and Service Providers to establish compatible processes that will help ensure the reliability Plant Ops SysteApply for this job.
