This position is the interface between global markets, the Kalamazoo Operations Site, and the Packaging Design Center that ensures correct implementation timing for changed artwork and new product introduction while maintaining customer supply. It is based in Kalamazoo, but manages global implementation of label changes to meet regulatory transition timing.
* This person will be responsible for facilitating the launch of new products and new SKU extensions for existing product presentations. * Track each step of the process and communicate with the individual market regulatory and commercial contacts for requirements. * Develops metrics and reports for implementation progress. * Must work with Continuous Improvement as a goal for the process. * Be self-directed and able to discern situations that require elevation. RESPONSIBILITIES:The position will be the primary point of contact at the site for all new product introductions and as such will facilitate the gathering of requirements for demands, artwork and regulatory filings. They will coordinate the site cross functional team to ensure the successful set up of all site systems and master data creation for production of the new product. The successful candidate will manage the coordination and approval of new and revised artwork for all packaging components supporting animal health products (cartons, labels, inserts, shipping case labels etc.) and communicate directly with US & ROW (Rest of the World) Regulatory Agencies to ensure compliance with country specific regulations and requirements. The position requires someone who is self-directed, able to work with various levels in the organization both internal and external to the site. They must have the ability to prioritize amongst multiple projects, multi-task, share ideas on process improvements, and communicate clearly and effectively on a global level. QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelor”s Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management plus two years Supply Chain Management experienceLanguage Skills: Effective Written and Oral Communication Skills. Ability to communicate globally through effective, succinct written communication and via telephone.Strong working knowledge of multiple computer programs including Microsoft Office Applications with a high proficiency in Excel and Outlook.Previous experience with SAP is preferred.This position is located in a general office environment with a high-energy team that creates artwork and packaging, provides customer service to over 60 global markets, and manages all site-wide projects for new product introductions. The position is computer and telephone intense with multiple conference calls per day/week with global markets. This may require shifting of hours to accommodate global customers.
