Position Purpose
The Project Manager plays a key role leading growth opportunities across Starch and Sweeteners North America (SSNA). Individuals in this role will be responsible for leading a portfolio of projects through all phases of the project management process to desired outcome. As a project manager this individual will be accountable for utilizing the project management execution framework to achieve the project objectives (scope, schedule, and cost). This position leads the development of project scope, schedule, budget, operating/commercial financials (including commitment preparation), staffing plan, and project execution plan including engagement and alignment of multifunctional teams across the organization including commercial, regulatory, manufacturing, supply chain, HR, Finance and others as applicable to each project.
Principal Accountabilities
30%?Project Leadership
Leads strategic vision to the project team utilizing full knowledge of portfolio management and general business acumen
Leads periodic project reviews utilizing knowledge of the project delivery process
Identifies and recommends and implements project management best practices based on expert knowledge of project management
Provides coaching and development for team and functional leads as appropriate??25%?Project Planning
Defines project objectives and scope utilizing expert knowledge of project management practices and procedures
Develops the Integrated Project Plan for projects with high cost and risk??20%?Project Execution
Leads the execution of projects with high cost and control
Utilizes the project management framework to achieve project objectives of delivered on time, on budget and business results are realized for projects with high cost and risk?15%?Business Results
Accountable for providing the Project Sponsor/Manager and stakeholders with a routine status of the project and actively communicating threats/concerns/barriers
Works with business to ensure product is successfully implemented and benefits? and value are captured for high cost and risk
Ensures successful completion of all project phases and closure of all aspects of the project??5%?Project Control
Regularly measures and monitors project progress to identify variances from the plan and make needed corrections for projects with high cost and risk
Contains and resolves issues within the project that do not require Project Sponsor/Manager attention?5%?Additional other duties as assigned

Required: Bachelor?s Degree or higher
Minimum 5 years of business experience.
Demonstrated project management experience
Proven ability to apply technical relevant technical knowledge to generate solutions and complete work requirements.
Solid attention to detail as it relates to all aspects of work processes and products to assure quality, accuracy and completeness.
Strong and proven drive for results and is able to achieve high levels of productivity through personal effort.
Strong Communication skills and ability to perform/build high performing team for on time tasks completions and proven ability on follow through and ensuring the completion of tasks from start to finish.
Ability to adapt and learn in a changing work environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail.
Microsoft Office Suite experience.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skill
