We currently have a position available at our Tech Center in Caldwell, ID.
SUMMARY The Project Manager role is to oversee the progress of all stage and gate projects and to work with the project leads and teams to ensure that the projects make progress through the system while meeting deadlines and deliverables. DESCRIPTIONLeads multiple projects simultaneously across portfolio, including new products, product development and process improvements, many with a high degree of complexity. Projects often move quickly and may be global, requiring quick reaction times to customer requirements, while working within the defined stage and gate and new product development guidelines. Manages projects requiring coordination of multiple departments. Manages a portfolio of projects and works with several project leaders at one time.
Works with the project lead to define the project and has primary responsibility for planning, tracking and managing the projects that are assigned. Responsible for identifying key resources and providing the direction required for meeting the project objectives. Responsible for ensuring appropriate management, customer and supplier involvement throughout the lifecycle of the project. RESPONSIBILITIES * Works with project manager to set up project parameters and timelines.* Sets up project team.* Hold regular project meetings, checking milestones and tasks are on track to hit the target dates, gauge project process, report back to stakeholders and escalate issues.* Works with Marketing to identify candidates for SKU discontinuation and facilitates that process.* Follows up with project team to ensure that tasks have been completed and project stays on track. REQUIREMENTS* Bachelors Degree. * Minimum 3-5 years experience. * Must have a technical background sufficient to understand the technologies and technical issues involved with the project and with the NPD software, to anticipate and identify potential obstacles and to make direct and make decisions regarding the project progression.
