The Project Service Manager is responsible for the oversight of the Retail IT SBU project portfolio. Manage the IT project governance standards and processes as adopted by the Retail IT SBU. This position will coordinate and manage the project portfolio risk analysis which includes a matrix of project dependencies by applications, infrastructure, 3rd party. The Project Service Manager will administer Retail software contracts for renewals and net new software, minimizing business disruptions. The project service manager will develop and train the Retail IT SBU leadership team on their role and responsibilities regarding renewals, net new software and compliance. What you will do:Build and maintain strong relationships with key leaders across the organizationInitiate and promote consistent and transparent dialog with the Retail IT SBU leadershipSupport continuous processes improvement within the Retail IT SBUContributor to the overall success of the Retail IT SBU KPI goalsEstablish a framework for agile and waterfall methodologies, working with the Retail IT SBU leadership and the IT PMOParticipate in the Nutrien project management community and support continuous improvement to PMO best practices and governance modelManage software contract processes with Retail IT SBU LeadershipResponsible for providing monthly Retail IT SBU Software contract reportingManage the purchase requisition process for software renewals, including net newManage hand-offs and communication to key functional area partners (IT Planning, IT Finance, Asset Management) Manage purchase order mismatchesRetail lead for automating software reportingAdvise and consult with Retail IT SBU leadership and IT Planning with software auditsResponsible to assemble and communicate requirements from Project internal/external audits Manage project audits working with internal/external auditors and our internal audit teamPerform adhoc Retail SBU quality assurance reviews for active projects Manage the Retail project portfolio risk analysis Delivery monthly risk analysis reportingFacilitate mitigation strategy as neededManage the IT PMO Project Status Reporting for RetailProvides and coordinates financial management for projects and improvementsManage the AFE lifecycle process (create, monitor, close)Develop and Manage the project financial approval processManage the SAP and Oracle User setupManage project budget tracking processProvide oversite for project change request Responsible for managing the purchase requisition, cost transfers, purchase order mismatchesManage the IT Retail professional services contract lifecycleTotal contract value vs. spend analysis Renewal processAdvise and consult on project RFI/RFQ/SOWKey point of contact for Retail IT SBU project managersProject escalationsProject change managementProject best practicesGetting a project startedFinancial estimation Monitoring and controlling project healthProject and financial closeManage small project and improvements as additional responsibilitiesSupport SDM’s in the execution and reporting of projects and improvementsEffective with creative solutioning and communication to influence others or facilitate resolution of a problem/issue Uses negotiation skills as appropriateProvide project management and software renewal technical/process expertise and guidance.
