Project Supervisor – Hazleton, PA
Position Purpose -The Project Supervisor manages all the facilities projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities.? The Project Supervisor shall be able to provide overall supervision for contractor employees, to include, but not limited to; planning and managing the project professionally, ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources; ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided; effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of the labor-hour services ordered; ensure cost saving factors and quality controls are used to ensure work is performed as scheduled, and at a fair and reasonable cost.Ensure successful completion of all mission operations in accordance with established policies and management goals regarding funding, storage, workload, manpower capability, component, issue, equipment items, and inventory control procedures.Ensures all employees observe policy, procedures and regulatory guidance for physical security, and monitors for compliance and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. This position will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will hire new talent as needed to fulfill client needs.The Project Supervisor will also manage the maintenance operations leads as well as our maintenance training department.?? Principal Accountabilities -?? 35% Manage contractors as well as the trainer and the maintenance operations lead.??Submit bids, obtain pre-qualifications and insurance, contractor orientations, onsite inspections, monthly safety meetings, etc.25% Manage all in-house projects and Capitol Projects??Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs??Must be on-site during the performance of the task order and must possess the basic knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and be responsible for the successful completion of the project and shall be qualified to be the Contractor?s on-site supervisor and POC for government representatives.??Capability to adjust work operations to meet emergency or changing Task Order or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work.??Ability to establish project objectives or performance goals and assess progress.??ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions.??Must have the ability to provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services to the customers??preparation/submission of Capital/Expense project commitment packages including all necessary documentation.??Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders ?20%? All administrative duties for submitting a capital project through its completion I??Initial project submissions, budget tracking spreadsheet updates, progress updates management team, etc. ??Ensure resource availability and allocation??Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress5%? Work with corporate legal to expedite contacts through the project process5%? Oversee the Management of Change process for Capital projects? ??Ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others.??Skill in written and oral presentations.??Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects??Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget??Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility? 5% Supervise techs on crews ??This will include the Trainers position and temporarily filling in where needed5%? Bachelor?s Degree in Project Management OR in lieu of the degree minimum 2 years of working experience in project management ?
Minimum 2 years of work experience with AutoCAD and laying out projects?
Minimum 2 years of work experience in equipment installation and building construction?
Understanding and knowledge of Industry building codes and regulations?
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills?
